2023/2024 Tryouts

Registering for Tryouts
Players who are interested in trying out for a competitive team must register on RAMP for the appropriate Tryout Package:

Visit http://westnorthumberlandgha.rampregistrations.com login or create an account, register as a participant and select the appropriate Tryout Package.

Cost
The cost for tryouts is $75 for a tryout card. This card will be good for all tryouts attended. you may either purchase the card on RAMP when registering for tryouts or select an offline payment method (i.e., cash/cheque) and pay in person. Payment must be received before stepping on the ice for a tryout.

Permission to Skate Forms
Anyone attending WNGHA tryouts who played for or is registered with another Girls Hockey Association will need to provide a copy of a completed form at the first tryout.

For players currently registered with WNGHA planning on attending tryouts at other centres, PTS form requests can be made here: https://wngha.ca/Forms/2180/
Please allow up to 48 hours for your PTS request to be processed.

Tryout Dates and Times
Please note that the tryout times below have been altered from what was announced on February 26. This is to take into account any additional ice we may require based on the number of players registered for each tryout. Depending on numbers, additional 1st and 2nd tryout dates may be scheduled to ensure player numbers are manageable and to ensure each player is evaluated fairly. Families may be asked to attend a specific tryout time


2nd Tier Team Tryouts
Additional tryouts may be schedule for Tier 2 teams based on the number of skaters that attend each skate.
