2026/2027 Tryout Information
Spring tryouts will include all U9, U11, U13, U15 & U18 competitive teams.
Registering for Tryouts
Registration will open on March 24, 2026.
Players who are interested in trying out for a competitive team must register on RAMP for the appropriate Tryout Package. Login or create an account, register as a participant and select the appropriate Tryout Package.
Cost
The cost for tryouts is $100 for a tryout card. This card will be good for all tryouts attended.
Payment must be received before the first tryout.
Permission to Tryout Forms (PTT)
Anyone attending WNGHA tryouts who played for or is registered with another Girls Hockey Association will need to provide a copy of a completed PTT form signed by your current association at the first tryout. The form can either be presented during tryouts or emailed to [email protected] prior to the first tryout.

For players currently registered with WNGHA planning on attending tryouts at other centres, PTT form requests can be made here: PTT Request Form

Tryout Exemptions
Players must attend a minimum of 2 tryouts in order to be eligible for a roster spot. If any player cannot attend the minimum required
tryouts, they must make a written submission to the executive at least 24 hours prior to the first tryout.
Players requesting a tryout exemption will still be required to purchase a tryout package to be considered for a team

Tryout Dates and Times
Depending on numbers, additional tryout dates may be scheduled to ensure player numbers are manageable and to ensure each player is evaluated fairly. Families may be asked to attend a specific tryout time.
Additional Team Tryouts
Additional tryouts may be schedule for additional Tier Teams (ex., Tier 3, etc.) based on the number of skaters that attend each skate.
