The WNGHA would not be able to operate without the tireless efforts of dedicated volunteers. We are overseen by a volunteer Executive Board who are elected at our Annual General Meeting near the end of each season. Visit the

There are a variety of volunteers opportunities currently available on our Executive Board to ensure the smooth operation of the association, making sure we're in compliance with OWHA/Hockey Canada guidelines, registering players, securing ice, and tons of other jobs and tasks that often take place behind the scenes.
Some of these positions are listed below.
2nd Vice President
Responsible for the co-ordination, development and monitoring of representative teams. Assists with Coach Selection process each season.
Registrar
Assists with registering players each season, submits teams to OWHA for approval and ensures each team is compliant with all roster guidelines.
Fundraising Chair
Approves and keeps track of fundraising initiatives done by each team within the association, helps ensure there are not conflicting fundraisers happening at the same time (i.e. 2 bottle drives on the same weekend).
House League Representative
Assists with the organization and running of our House League program.
Sponsorship Representative
Helps secure sponsors for teams with the WNGHA House league and Rep programs as well as creating positive relations with other organizations and local businesses.
Equipment Manager
Will hand out and collect all house league equipment and jerseys at the beginning and end of each season. Also helps coordinate, catalog and store all equipment and uniforms in the storage area of WNGHA.
