WiSE Talk Conference
Submitted By Ryan Smith on Thursday, February 2, 2017
Ryerson University is presenting the first ever WISE Conference (Women in Sport Entertainment). WiSE Talk is a FREE one day conference to educate, empower, and encourage young women to explore a career in the sport media industry. It is taking place at the historic Maple Leaf Gardens, in Toronto, on February 11, 2017. There will be guest speakers and workshops for high school aged girls who are potentially interested in this type of career.

The event host is our own WNGHA alumni, Sarah Jenkins, who is also running one of the workshops. She has already demonstrated significant success in her field and even worked with CBC last summer at the Olympic Games!
