Refunds

COVID-19 related stoppages
Depending on the severity of the stoppage, length of time, how far we are into our season, you could be eligible for a prorated refund based on us doing a financial breakdown and determining what expenses could be recovered and those that couldn't. As an example, fees due to the OWHA and insurance are paid up front.  Ice and a variety of other expenses could be reclaimed or simply not be charged at that point in time.  This would indicate what level of refund could be issued.

Refund/Withdrawal for other reasons than COVID-19
WNGHA provides refunds as follows:
  • 75% refund before November 1.
  • 50% refund before December 1.
  • No refunds provided after December 1.
Any requests for a refund must be due to extenuating circumstances and approved by the WNGHA executive after this date.

For the younger ages (U7 & U9), we provide each team with a set of goalie equipment, and believe in rotating the goaltending position on a weekly basis, allowing all players the opportunity to try goaltending.

For U11 and up, we offer discounts for "full-time" goaltenders who are able to provide their own equipment.
The WNGHA House League program typically includes two ice times per week which includes practices and home games. Ice allocation has not yet been finalized so this is a tentative outline.

Generally, the House League hockey program operates 1 weekday and 1 weekend ice time per team locally. Depending on ice availability and registration numbers, 1 ice time may be shared with another team. There are occasional away games that could be scheduled during the weekdays. The WNGHA plays occasional games against other local organizations including Keene, Lindsay, Ennismore and Peterborough.
