U13, U15, and U18 Program
Season Information:
- Evaluation Skates: beginning of September
- Season start: beginning of October
- Season end: end of March
- Holiday Break: no sessions between December 25 - January 2
- Sessions: 20 ice times, 60 minutes each + year end celebration
- Age Groups:
- U13 - Players under the age of 13 as of December 31 of this year.
- U15 - Players under the age of 15 as of December 31 of this year.
- U18 - Players under the age of 18 as of December 31 of this year.
Pre-Season Development Sessions
Depending on the number of players registered, evaluation skates may be organized to ensure equal teams. Information on evaluation skates will be posted on our website in August if required as well as an email sent out to anyone registered for the program.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are House League games played?
Our House League teams typically play games against each other however, we endeavor to schedule games against other local centres. This includes but is not limited to: Oshawa, Clarington, Peterborough, Lindsay, Ennismore, and Belleville. Locally, games are scheduled at the Cobourg Community Centre and Baltimore Recreation Complex.
When are House League games and practices?
The season typically starts with practices and development skates before the league game schedule begins. Once the regular schedule settles in, teams typically have two ice times per week - one practice and one game.
When will the full season schedule be released?
House League pre-season development activities will begin in September, as detailed above with team games/practices occurring in October. The full season schedule is normally provided in September.
How long is the season? When is Championship weekend?
The House League season runs from October-March. Championship weekend gets scheduled for the last weekend of March.
What about tournaments?
House League teams can play a maximum of 5 tournaments per season in accordance with the WNGHA Policies - this includes our annual Halloween Havoc tournament. Each team determines their own tournament schedule, which is set by the head coach after discussion with parents and players.
Are tournament registration fees covered by WNGHA?
Tournament registration fees are not included in season registration fees. Any costs for entering tournaments/hotel accommodations would be incurred by the individual team.
