Stretch Notches Game Winner!
Aislyn Stretch scored the game winning goal in the final regular season game on a fantastic net drive picking up the rebound on an Aly Morris shot.
The game winning goal by Stretch (and a well deserved shutout between the pipes by Sarah Gundry) provided the Wild with a 1-0 win over the Scarborough Sharks and secured a 6th place tie with the Peterborough Ice Kats in the overall LLFHL Eastern Division standings.
The team will now face the Clarington Flames in round 1 of the LLFHL playoffs and the Peterborough Ice Kats in the Provincial Play-downs.
