Championship Weekend
It is with great honor that I report that our Atom BB team has made it to Championship Weekend March 27-29 2015.
It is with great honor that I report that our Atom BB team has made it to Championship Weekend March 27-29 2015.
This is the second year in a row most of these young girls represented the Wild at this tournament.
These girls defeated Scarborough Sharks in 2 games in Round 1.Then went on to face Clarington Flames for Round 2. And in game 3 a 10 min OT with a 0-0 score it went to a shoot out and Reghan Chadwick and Caitlin Stewart both scored while Kassidy Lawrence shut down the first 2 shooters from Clarington giving the Wild the victory.
Then the girls faced the first place team Oshawa Lady Generals in Round 3. Paige Kniff scored the only goal of the first game in Oshawa giving them the victory and the second game was exciting with Evelyn Coyle scoring in less then 2 mins of the game but it ended in a tie of 1-1 taking the Wild back to Oshawa for game 3. Where Lily Wilson scored the only goal of the game giving them the victory and moving on to Championship Weekend. These girls have had a successful year with 2 gold medals and a silver and playing in Championship weekend as well as Provincials in April.
As they take the ice this weekend #23 lives on in their hearts and their souls to help them take the 3rd GOLD (Hat trick) let's Go Wild Let's Go.
