They may not score goals, but they dig and skate and demonstrate the core values that WNGHA espouses in their young players, to demonstrate persistent in the face of challenge. They simply are your work horses, the girl that falls down and gets right back up, that creates the play in the middle and never complains when asked to change position, one more time.
